VGS™ Fiber Patch Cables & Cleaning Tools
Fiber offers superior bandwidth, longer transmission distances, and resistance to environmental interference compared to copper. Vericom provides a wide range of VGS Fiber Patch Cables and Cleaning Tools to meet diverse connectivity needs.
- Duplex Patch Cables: Made with Corning® Fiber Optic Glass and 1.8mm cable with 900μm buffered fiber and aramid yarn for strain relief. Available in OS1/OS2, OM3, OM4, and OM5 types (UL OFNR rated), with SC (2.5mm) and LC (1.25mm) connectors. Ships in A-B polarity, modifiable for data center use. Meets TIA-568-C.3 standards.
- Simplex Patch Cables: Also built with Corning® glass and 1.8mm cable, available in OS2 (UL OFNR). Features SC and LC connectors, with green APC connectors for angled end faces. Compliant with TIA-568-C.3.
- MTP®/MPO-Style Patch Cables: Offered in 12, 16, 24, and 32-position connectors for high-density backbone cabling. Ideal for connecting fiber distribution frames, servers, and switches. Multiple cable types, fiber counts, and connector brands available.
- Fiber Cleaning Tools: Designed to remove dust, oil, and static from MPO, LC, SC, ST, and other standard connectors. Essential for maintaining optimal performance in data centers, labs, and field applications.
